Intensely coloured, organic, low impact, soft, luxurious, premium, superlative….These are the qualities we look for in the fibers and yarns we carry.

We sell the yarns and fibers that ignite our passion and creativity, and that we use daily in our studio.
We dream in colour and fibre…nothing excites us more….and usually that takes form in a new colourway in our yarns or a felting project on the table. Everyday we play with fibers- this is our passion.
 We have chosen the finest 19 micron merino wool roving, and extra fine 19 micron merino wool prefelts for fine felting projects such as nuno felting, scarves and light garments. We have Finnish, Coopworth/Corriedale blends and Norwegian C1, and C1- Pelsull, for the best felted bags, boots, and rugs.


Yarns are dyed in small batches of 10-14 hanks to keep the colours alive and fluid; with enough in each batch for several projects, and enough change that we can love the creative side of what we do. 

We love dyeing with natural plant materials, and with as many locally growing plants as possible. This has been a creative passion for over 15 years. Our dream is to create a dyers garden here on Salt Spring Island, where visitors can enjoy our beautiful surroundings, our plants and our colours.
